You have a couple of challenges mounting the Hornady Bullet Feeder next to the Dillon 650 since the bullet feeder mounts to the bench, not the press itself. First, the die plate on the 650 is 4" higher than the LNL AP. If you are using the "strong mount" it is even higher.

I'm currently using the Hornady LnL AP press and have lots of Hornady components. I've always had indexing issues with the Hornady and seriously thinking of upping to the XL650 but don't like the idea of scraping a lot of existing dies and other parts. Wondering if the Hornady 9mm bullet feeder dies will work with the XL650.

The 550 is an excellent choice. With the tool heads set up for your various calibers, a change over is extremely quick. I would also go with the optional "Strong Mount". This raises the press to a much more comfortable position. I am in the process of fitting my 550 with the new case feeder. I hope to see a 25% increase or better in production.
