Looking for some feedback/help. Just bought a Rivera Rockcrusher. Hooked it up and I am having a problem. When using the bedroom volume attentuation the amp starts fine and then fades out. If I turn the volume down and then back up, it starts out fine and then fades again. It doesn't do this on any other setting.

The Rivera is looking good but I don't want to jump the gun if it's not much better than the THD at super low volumes. I know heavy attenuation will never sound the same as the cranked amp on it's own but I've heard the new attenuators do a much better job at this than the older designs.

A Rock Crusher+Radial JDX would run you $700 as well. This isn't a big price increase at all, for what it does. It's also MIA, which is saying something, IMO. The real question is whether or not you need an attenuator+speaker emulation, or if you need just a load+emulation.
